Calling all English students!

This is where you will find help and resources for all your English (and drama) needs!

I will title all of the blog posts with your class name, so you know which posts to look at. There will be general help available for you as well, so explore any post.

This will help you strive towards and beyond your target grades - but remember - it's all down to you in the end!

Happy blogging! Mrs J x

Year 12 literature...

Hi Year 12 - sorry to be off today, but I have left you with more than enough structured work to be getting on with.
Please have the tasks outlined on the first power point, completed by Tuesday 21st - alongside the Todorov narrative summary and the tables about literary terms and language features. The last task regarding The Handmaid's Tale can be done as a 'mini' essay - it will just give me an indication of your analytical writing style, but see it as a warm up to the real thing! Don't stress over it too much please! Just give it a go so I can gauge your style.

Thank you to Gemma, Hannah, Hannah, Beth and Charlotte, who all came to see me regarding the book I asked you to collect. If you didn't manage to get one, then please hang on in there - the yr13 exam is tomorrow (Wed) and we shall get them back then. Feel free to see any of your yr13 friends and grab them off them if you want!

Good luck and I can't wait to see what you are capable of...
Mrs J x
